About the Studio

Ballard is a boutique landscape design studio based in Hillsborough, North Carolina, serving Chapel Hill, Durham, Raleigh, and the surrounding Triangle. We see landscape design as both art and environmental responsibility — creating outdoor spaces that feel beautiful and do good.

Native plants, pollinator habitats, edible gardens, and sustainable solutions aren’t add-ons for us. They’re core to how we work — thoughtfully, selectively, and in partnership with every homeowner we serve.
